09/10/11 - Update! I entered Channel 4's Estings competition earlier in the year and my animation got chosen for the finals! I didn't win first place but it's still being broadcast on E4 during advert breaks for the next year! Exciting eh? Welcome! My name is Tom Stratford. I'm a 3D artist currently based in Nottingham, UK. I graduated from Bournemouth University in 2007 with a 1st class honours degree in Computer Animation and Visualisation. Since finishing uni I have taken part in Dare To Be Digital billed the 'UK's premier video games competition for students', done some pre-production work at Boxframe in Derby, gained almost two years of industry experience as an environment artist at Codemasters in Warwickshire and a further two years experience as an environment artist at the UK studio of esteemed German game developers Crytek. During my time at Codemasters I worked on two successful video games - the BAFTA award winning Race Driver: GRID and the extreme rally title Dirt 2. At Crytek I've worked on the multiplayer of the critically acclaimed Crysis 2 and the recently released console version of the original Crysis!
